RB FAQs
How are running back fantasy points calculated?
In standard scoring: 1 point per 10 rushing yards, 6 points per rushing TD, 1 point per 10 receiving yards, 6 points per receiving TD, -2 per fumble lost. PPR adds 1 point per reception (0.5 in half-PPR).
What is a good fantasy week for an RB?
15+ points is a strong RB week in PPR scoring. 20+ is RB1 territory. Pass-catching backs (CMC, Kamara) regularly clear 20 because their reception volume floors them at double-digit points.
Why are pass-catching RBs so valuable in PPR?
A back with 6 receptions in PPR earns 6 bonus points before any rushing or receiving yardage. Add typical RB rushing volume on top and pass-catching backs become high-floor weekly starters.
