Kicker FAQs
How are kicker fantasy points calculated?
Field goals are scored by distance: 3 pts (0-39 yds), 4 pts (40-49 yds), 5 pts (50+ yds). Extra points are 1 pt each. Most leagues subtract 1 pt for missed field goals.
What is a good fantasy week for a kicker?
7-9 points is a solid kicker week. 12+ is great. Elite weeks (multiple long FGs + 4 PATs) push 15+. Bad weeks against tough defenses or bad weather can land at 2-3 points.
When should you draft a kicker?
Always last. Kicker performance is nearly random year-to-year. Stream kickers based on weekly matchup — target dome teams in bad weather weeks and high-scoring offenses with red zone struggles.
